Character quotations:
History: Dr. Livingstone, I presume?
Caroline (along with Archie) drives a car through the field where Wolfe is trapped by an aggressive bull. Her rhetorical question to Wolfe is a famous reference to Morton Stanley's first encounter with renowned missionary Dr. David Livingstone, who was presumed dead or lost in Africa.
Morton Stanley, a reporter for the New York Herald, was sent to locate Livingstone and found him in at the city of Ujiji on Lake Tanganyika in 1871. It was at this meeting that Stanley uttered his famous declaration, "Dr Livingstone, I presume."
